Calling all Genea-Musings Fans:
It's Saturday Night again -
time for some more Genealogy Fun!!
Here is your assignment if you choose to play along (cue the Mission Impossible music, please!):
1) Did you join a youth organization such as Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Camp Fire, Job's Daughters, for example?
2) Tell us about it in a blog post of your own, in a comment on this blog, or in a Facebook post.
I wasn't in Girl scouts, but I did join a youth program. I went to a program called the Delta Academy, which is fathered under by the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. The program was from October through May, once a month.
I went with my twin sister all those times. We got free snacks every morning. The group did interactive activities with each other. We had to talk to each other, present, and share.
After about 1 hour or so, it was lunchtime. You didn't need to have one ready to go, they ordered it for you. We got to choose what we wanted, from the options there were.
After lunch, we finished the lesson/lecture, then we had to rate and give feedback (on what the teacher could do better).
That's it.
Thank you to Lisa Gorrell and Randy Seaver.
